Lynne M. LaValley Memorial Service
First Churches of Northampton
Following a long illness with cancer, Lynne M. LaValley died at home with her family present on September 15. Her memorial service will be led by the Rev. Dr. Peter B. Ives, her pastor while she served as sexton here. Her helpful signage, tiling and painting in the kitchen, new flooring and painting in the men's room, plantings all around the church, bike rack -- her improvements to our building and grounds are everywhere around us. We remember her with love and thanks and mourn her loss for us and for her husband Randy and their large family.
Her service will be Saturday, September 29, at 9:00 a.m., at the Ahearn Funeral Home on 783 Bridge Road in Northampton, followed by a reception at our church at 10:30 in Lyman Hall, a place where she helped out so often at church functions. Please come in celebration of Lynne.
