Here is the complete script for next Friday's Good Friday vigil. You can read through the first page to understand what's expected of you.

You'll see that we still need a few folks to take an hour-long shift. Would you consider it, if you haven't signed up for one already? 

I will print out a couple copies and leave them in the front pew. But it's probably a good idea to print at least the first page and the page that corresponds to your shift, or have it available on your phone in case the script goes missing. 

Louise and Jenna are putting together a little booklet of (different) scripture and poems for those who come. These will be on a stand at the back. Here is a copy--you can see I invite people to come to you for prayer. 

blessings and thank you! I think this is going to be very moving. Even if very few people take advantage of the opportunity, there is something powerful about keeping vigil with the dying Jesus.
