Hi Worship Planning Friends,

Just a few details before I go on Saturday.

I've arranged for Roger Bash to coordinate the taking down of Christmas decorations after the service on Sunday. Can you make sure to include in the annoucements a request for volunteers to stay after for a bit to help take things down? Doesn't take too long.

I've created documents for both putting up and taking down the decorations which I will attach. Perhaps someone can put these in a place where you can find them easily if/when you need them. I don't have any expectation that this will always be done as I have, but in case you want to replicate any of it, you'll have the details.

Since I will be away all of the Sundays in January, someone will need to set up the Chancel and oversee the slides. I assume that Carolyn will let someone know what the set up needs to be for this coming Sunday for the Epiphany Pageant.

If you choose to light the Advent candles, I've set them up so that they will burn another week. There may still be a few poinsettias and cyclamens around which at this point should probably just be moved out unless they still look oikay and you want to use them.

Also, I won't be "meme-ing" the sermons while I am gone, so if someone wants to take that on, feel free. (Because of the holiday schedule, I haven't done that for a couple of weeks, but hope to do something from last Sunday.) Also, if the preacher of the day can do a recap of the sermon and create a list of keywords and get that to Tefari, that would be helpful. I'll attach an example of what I send him each week.

I will be checking emails while I'm gone and inevitably do church work while I'm in Australia, but may not be quickly responsive at times.

If I think of anything else, I'll send it along later!
