Skywarn Training Opportunity in Charlotte

Hello Everyone,
I am organizing a Skywarn Class to be held at Mecklenburg EMS Agency
(MEDIC) in Charlotte, hopefully sometime during May. If you, or
anyone you know of, would like to attend this training, please send a
email to bar...@medic911.com. I am gathering interest through the end
of next week, and then will try to nail down a date. The Auditorium
at Medic can hold @ 100 people. I already have about 25 interested.
Feel free to let your HAM clubs know about it. The NWS in Greer has
already agreed to come to Charlotte to teach the class. Brad has
agreed to get news coverage for the event. Hopefully we will be able
to get Brad, and the others from the First Warn Weather Team to attend
if they are able to. This will also be a good event to possibly
recruit more spotters for the group.
