Dear Greek students,
Last night, we reviewed nouns and ch. 14, then finally jumped into ch. 15 on verbs for the first time. Verbs express action or state of being.
We learned some new words like tense, voice, and mood, and learned that in Greek, time does not always equal tense. We were also introduced to the idea of “aspect,” i.e. continuous or complete look at an action.
Next Tuesday, we will finish up reading ch. 15 and will read ch. 16 together as well. There is no homework this week, though it would benefit you to get a head start and start learning the paradigm on p. 134 of primary tense/active stem endings.
Keep up the good work, everyone!
Pastor Stephen
