Hi everyone,
Last night was a bit unusual. Only Catherine and I were on at 6:30. Then Bob and Patrick both called in at 7:40. Tom was also preoccupied and not able to make it. We all just agreed to wait and try again next week. (Rick, are you still around? We’ve missed hearing from you!)
Last week, we studied ch. 8 on prepositions and were introduced to the verb eimi which conveys “being” (its different present tense forms are: am, is, are).
As a reminder, here is your homework for next week:
· Re-read any grammar that is unfamiliar through ch. 8
· Review all vocab through ch. 8
· Do Exercise 8 Warmups 1-3
· Do Exercise 8 Translation 1, 3
Next Tuesday, March 15, we’ll recap ch. 8 on and then move on to introduce ch. 9.
**Note** Be sure to give your Greek a little attention every day. Just 15 min. a day will make a huge difference. If you’re not spending 2-3 hours a week AT THE VERY MINIMUM, I can guarantee you’ll never learn the Greek language. Greek is demanding, but remember the rewards for your effort – a greater knowledge and affection for God and His word.
Thanks!
Stephen
