  We did talk briefly about the rest of Sacraments which are Anointing the sick, Holy orders and Matrimony. Bindu went into detail about the 5th Sacrament, anointing the sick, and the importace of it.

The apostles who recieved the mission to heal the sick continued the anointing of the sickand praying for them. St.James, in his epistle, says: "If one of you is ill, he should send for the elders of the church and they must anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord and pray over him. The prayer of faith will save the sick man and the Lord will raise him up again; If he has committed any sin, he will be forgiven" (James 5:14-16). This is earliest form of the anointing of the sick. The sacramentof Anointing the sick is administered by the power that Jesus gave to the Church through the apostles. 

   Anointing of the sick is the Sacrament that gives us the health in body and soul through the forgivenes of sins and healing of sickness. Chuch is always compassionate towards the sick. She prays and work for the sick.

   When the Sacrament of anointing the sick is administered, the Church prays over the sick for the sactification of body and soul, forgiveness of sins and healing of sickness and anoints the person with Holy oil.

It is part of our Christian mission to visit the sick,console them, pray for them and nurse them.

   During the special session Johnyachan tried bringing some lights to the mysteries of Holy Qurbana. He talked about Holy Trinity(Triun God). Children were also taught about the meaning of Amen that's  'certainly,let it be so'. He sang with the children the hymn of resurrection and Trisagion and went all the way until the 4 readings. He's going to continue this session next Saturday.

  The kids were given a special assignment to read Psalm 23 from tonight everyday and thus they will be able to memorize it.
