I've made an alteration to the reporting this month. What I had
envisioned seemed like a good idea at first, but it wound up being
very tedious, and ultimately a waste of time.
I set up facebook accounts for every participant and recorded their
activities in the status updates. The idea being we would be able to
look at an individual member and get a quick overview of their
contribution for the month. Something like this will most likely be
necessary in the near future. The way I did it was stupid but the the
idea still stands.
So without further ado..........

*COMPLETED WORK*
As I said, I created facebook accounts for each. I cannot give you
links to these pages because facebook is a piece of garbage. If you
would like to look at the pages you can log onto the accounts.
Email address: fwp(your first name)@
gmail.com (i.e. mine is
fwp...@gmail.com).
Passoword: fireworksproject
People who were active and who I created accounts for are:
Kris
Amit
Shawn
Michael
myself
Of course you can navigate through basecamp to find the same
information. But having personal pages with a record of participation
seems more logical way to evaluate performance.
Like I said before, I will not be doing this type of reporting again.
It is far too tedious and time consuming with very little payoff. But
I it is something to look at and evaluate if we want to do something
like this in the future.

As always, post your votes here. And enjoy the holidays.
