Subject: EXTENSION - Nature Repair Market Consultation [SEC=OFFICIAL]

Dear Stakeholder,

Thank you for your valuable input to the department’s work to create a nature repair market to facilitate biodiversity and drive environmental improvements across Australia.

As you are aware the department released the exposure draft of the Nature Repair Market Bill (the Bill) on 23 December 2022. This consultation was due to close on 24 February 2023.

We are offering all stakeholders a one week extension to the consultation period, which will now close on 5pm Friday 3 March 2023, noting we would greatly appreciate receiving any submissions prior to this date.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Nature Repair Market team at - naturerep...@dcceew.gov.au.

Yours sincerely
Nature Repair Market Team
