In all our activities the ILSC pays respect to the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands and waters on which we work. We honour the resilience and continuing connection to Country, culture and community of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across Australia. We recognise the decisions we make today will impact the lives of generations to come.

Dear Oliver,

We are pleased to share our latest update with you – the release of our three Regional Indigenous Land and Sea Strategies (RILSS).

The Central, Eastern, and Western RILSS, aligned to our divisional boundaries, are directly linked to our National Indigenous Land and Sea Strategy (NILSS) priorities and commitments.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, ideas and provided feedback during development of the NILSS and the RILSS this year. We look forward to seeing what we can achieve together in 2024 and beyond.

Click on the RILSS images below to view the respective regional strategy.
