Hi Oliver
We are recruiting positions to undertake implementation of three to four pilot projects within regional NSW to facilitate implementation of Aboriginal land management practice within specific worksites.
The objectives of the program will be achieved by facilitating partnerships between Aboriginal community organisations and Transport for NSW in association with the range of NSW land management agencies.
The positions are housed within Transport for NSW Aboriginal engagement team working throughout NSW.
I can provide a level of flexibility in the job location within the NE NSW role with worksites occurring between Newcastle to the NSW border.
Please distribute the position descriptions attached as you see fit to support filling the two available Aboriginal identified 18 month Grade 8 Project Officer roles.
Northern NSW – https://jobs.transport.nsw.gov.au/job-invite/81759/

I recognise and acknowledge that modern New South Wales is an overlay on
Aboriginal land and that many of the transport routes of today follow songlines
Aboriginal people have followed for tens of thousands of years. I pay my respects
to the Aboriginal people of NSW and Elders past and present.
