FireStats 1.6 prior to RC1 did not really work at all on wpmu, all the
hits went to the main blog on the site and not to user blogs.

try to deactivate FireStats for all users and re-activate it, that
should solve the problem (You can use Plugin Commander to do this easily).

if it does not help, please open a support request at
http://firestats.cc/newticket

sorry Omry, it was my fault. I had enabled javascript tracking :-( see
also my post here: http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/topic.php?id=10289
any ideas? I'd like to enable the javascript based tracking...
as if I am not msitaken, that would also work with cached pages,
right? i.e. when using wp super cache plugin.

You are not mistaken, and your only fault is using non-stable software :)

you found a bug.

it's a real wtf bug, you can see the fix here:

http://firestats.cc/changeset/2084

(if it doesn't make any sense to you, don't worry - you are not alone )

you can use the php/hit.php file from

http://firestats.cc/export/2084/branches/firestats-1.6/firestats/php/hit.php

to solve the problem.

I will release this change with the next 1.6 release.

thanks for reporting, and if you bump into anything else please let me know.

:-) thx for the fix. it took me 5 minutes to understand, as I saw no
difference between the removed and the added code until I realized the
position was different :-)

I don't mind using non-stable software... I am aware of it, that's why
I report and hope for fixes, and you certainly are one of the fastest
fixers around (I also use your plugin commander).

thx a lot.
