Why FireStats not support Lao?

Hi, i'm using FireStats both Stable and RC version. My problem is
FireStats doesn't show any IP address from Lao. I've checked Database
on ip-to-country's website and I found it can display IP from Lao, so
the problem is come from FireStats. I've updated the Database but not
work. How do I fix this?

What ip to country website did you check?

firestats uses the database from http://ip-to-country.webhosting.info/.

if the database there correctly identifies an ip address from Lao and
FireStats doesn't, then there is a problem.

is that the case?

Thanks for your reply, my IP is 202.137.135.219 and the IP-to-Country
is able to identify my country correctly. I don't know why FireStats
doesn't do that, this is my problem. Hope someone could help me out :)

I have just tested it and it seems to work fine, see screen shot.

why do you think its not working properly?

Hmm... So strange. I don't know why it works with yours but not with
mine. Look at my screenshot here

flag. It should be at least 10% because there are many Lao people
access to my blog, I don't understand why it doesn't show up any of
them :/

access your blog and check if it detects your the country of your ip
address correctly in the hits table.

How can I do that? I'm using Wordpress 2.0.5 and FireStats 1.1.3-RC3

make sure the blog does not filter you by IP or by user name, and simply
enter your blog with the browser.

you should see your own hit in the hits table.

Do you see Lao flag next to your ip in the images column in the hits table?

No, I don't see any country flag next to my IP, except the OS and Web
Browser. That's the problem :(
