28nm Tape-out DDR solution

Hi all,

Our lab is going to tape-out a chip using Chipyard & FireSim.

Due to the budget, I don't think we can have a DDR controller and Phy on chip.

I wonder if it is possible to have some alternative solution? Say, SDMMC, or others?

We wish to boot the Linux on the BOOM and run very light DNN workloads on the Geimini.
