SCOPE OF SERVICES
Job Description: Consultant will design, develop, test and document applications and application enhancements. These will be coded using .Net C# on the Windows platform.
The Department of Housing Preservation and Development has a need for an experienced .Net C# application developer to design, develop and deliver applications. In addition the candidate will:
- Participate in project development using Agile methodology.
- Develop applications using our .Net Framework.
- Research new technologies and share discoveries with other team members.
- Work closely with the QA team.
- Participate in team meetings and provide insightful input and ideas.
- Provide technical input/guidance when needed.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
References should be provided from at least two former or current clients where the contractor has performed the same or similar work. Provide the name, address, phone number and e-mail address of the reference as well as a brief description of the work performed.
Right To Hire
The Department (HPD) reserves the right to hire the selected consultant as an employee at any time during the contract. In the event of a consultant hire by HPD, the firm will be prohibited from charging or penalizing the consultant in any form, financial or otherwise. The consultant will be made aware of this condition as part of the contracting process.
Contractor Furnished Equipment
The consultant will be required to have his/her own voice/data activated blackberry-based cellular phone during the contract period. Prior to the start of the contract performance, the selected consultant will contact the HPD Point of Contact under the contract to have their Blackberry phone connected to HPD’s email system.
