The dispatch office was at "1320" IIRC - Eastern Ave I believe. The
dispatcher could pull up run cards on a automated microfiche reader
machine. (or map info or something). Paging of the stations was done
by pushing various round buttons on a console.
Ruth Buzzi was in 1 episode. I think I saw Lou Ferigno as an orderly
also. (no credit - he didnt say anything) Chief Engineer Haus (?) was
also seen - no credit for him either - unless he was listed at the
start of the show. He read a proclamation for Squad 51 - which should
have been for Squad 15.
Roy and Johnny had to jump into Lake Castaic from Copter 10. Johnny
wrapped the HT in a plastic bag - and it still worked. Engine 149 was
at the lake also - they still protect that area IIRC.
The BioPhone connected the medics to the hospital. I guess a buzzer
buzzed and a light flashed whenever the channel was keyed up. (The
earlier episodes did not have the hospital base radios is a separate
room)
Its fun to watch the old shows - but they are around 30 or 40 years
old now - amazing.
