didnt I post a followup on this? maybe not
1. the accuracy of john okeefes phone seemed to be mostly 10 feet
while enroute to 34 fairview - unknown what the exact lats longs were
- data was appended maybe - we did not see that data
2. john okeefe phone apparently was sending location data once every second
3. john okeefe phone lost accuracy for approx 6 pings and then stopped moving
we were thinking that maybe john okeefe threw his phone at karen read
suv - hit the taillight and broke the taillight- and then the phone
bounced onto the lawn - john okeefe then went inside 34 fairview and
was beaten to death - or maybe someone met john okeefe at the door of
34 fairview - took his phone from him - and threw it onto the lawn
here is my explanation of "accuracy" - definitions - infrastructure =
celltowers and satellites and computers and internet that links it all
together - apparently the cell towers send out a signal every second
to a cellphone - the cellphone plots its location via gps and sends
that location to the cell tower - the cellphone might also plot its
location by comparing the signal from multi cell towers - when the
celltower receives the return reply from the cellphone with the lats
and longs - the infrastructure can calculate the difference between
where the phone says it is based on gps or tower - and where the
infrastructure detects it to be (based on multi delays to receive the
signal on multi cell towers) - yes its complicated
let me try to find that report by ?gauarino? again
keep in mind - the cellphone has a much 'harder' time seeing the
celltowers and gps satellites when inside a car - or in a house - or
when under heavy tres - or in a snowstorm - etc - the signals mostly
travel in straight lines - and the signals are weakened / attenuated
by heavy objects and metal objects
you can search the internet for the terms - land mobile radio and emf
and radio wave propagation
this is all based on some document that we were viewing - unknown how
reliable the info is - apparently the data was from a msp detective -
maybe guarino
