I've recently moved to Firefox (v3.6) from IE6 on Win2k SP4 but can't
discover how to create desktop icons for:
1) List of favorite websites (updated automatically each time I save a
bookmark)
2) A specific website of temporary interest.
Where does Firefox hide its bookmarks on the HD? Any help would be
appreciated, thanks.

Hi!
To create any shortcut of a favourite on your desktop:
- go to the list of favourites,
-Right mouse click brings up a menu,
-click of COPY,
-go to Desktop
-Right mouse click
-Click on PASTE, the shortcut is created right there.

Thanks for asking, I have now used that method myself
