If you are in a page and want to quickly use Firefinder, just press
Ctrl + Shift + V on PC/Linux, Command + Shift V on Macs, and the
Firefinder panel will become visible and you can type away
immediately. :-)

Yes, I'm sure it will collide with shortcuts in other extensions...
Given the number of extensions available on the market, it's bound to
happen. In a future version, though, I'm thinking of offering you a
customized shortcut key.
