Has anyone figured out a way to stop posts in certain categories
appearing on the front page?

Thanks,
Davy Mitchell

I've never had a need to. :-)

Why would you want to do that ? :-)

It doesn't seem like a common requirement anyway...

Hi Michael,

I am trying to use Firedrop2 as a CMS for my churches website (so far
so good). Everything is listed as a blog post but I would like only
certain categories to appear on the front page.

Yeah it is a little unusual :-)

Thanks,
Davy Mitchell

Oh right, interesting.

I wouldn't be keen on too many CMS type features merged into the core
Firedrop project (it already suffers from trying to do too much). On the
other hand I wouldn't mind you adding an optional entry attribute (like
publish) that suppresses an entry from the front page.

The new release has had 79 downloads by the way... not bad.
