to Firedrop2 the Python Blog Client
I'm new to both Firedrop2 and Python. I downloaded movpy today and
created my first Firedrop2 site using the weblog type at http://bmnp.net
today.

Here are my questions:
1. It looks like all the files are written into one directory. It
looks like I can change the root output directory but not the root of
where the markup files are stored. Doesn't this make it difficult to
manage a large site.
2. How difficult would it be for me to change the generated site so
that each entries title would be the entry title (not the site title)
and so that the urls looked like this: http://[site]/articles/[category]/[title-with-hypens].html?

Cool - nice site and blog.

My blog has around 680 entries. Is this large ?

As I use firedrop to do all the managing of the blog, I never have to
touch the output files (other than to upload them), so it has never
bothered me at all.

It shouldn't be very difficult, but it would require some hacking around
inside Firedrop to make it work. Don't forget that entries can be in
multiple categories, so I'm not sure how that would fit in with your
system. (Would you want each entry to have multiple URLs ?)

Davy has done the most hacking with Firedrop recently, so if you are
interested then he might be able to guide you a bit.

All the best,
