Dear Shashank,

I was wondering, where exactly you want Fireclay to become different
to Mate in respect to the event bus.
Also, if there is no difference, what else will be different? Frankly,
I'm in love with Mate and was wondering, if it wouldn't make more
sense to merge all event bus driven efforts into one project.

Best, John

Hi John,
Fireclay predates Mate and at the time Fireclay was envisioned there
was no EventBus model proposed for a Flex MVC framework. However, you
do have a point that both Fireclay and Mate are similar to an extent
as far as the event propagation model goes.

Fireclay aims to be much larger than just an MVC framework as Flex
development involves a whole lot of other intricacies beyond MVC
abstractions. Fireclay will soon include the entire gamut of design
pattern implementations, special abstractions for effective messaging,
portal type container API, support for Flex 4 style skinning and more.
Stay tuned.

Thanks, Shashank
