Hey all,

Have been using Firebug for a long time and absolutely love it. I've noticed from time to time that certain blocks of (valid/running) code wind up having grayed out line numbers and thus are not debuggable by firebug. More recently, this has been making debugging of some of my projects nearly impossible. I'm not sure if this is because of new issues with Firebug or because my code has changed in some particular way that Firebug doesn't like.

Any help here? What is the specific limitation? Is there a way around it?

(Unfortunately I can't post the entire project source, but I will make an attempt at isolating the issue into a test file when I have some more time..)

Many thanks.

I got the same problem, first thought it was files with many lines of code (we got lots of files with over 2K lines in them),
but the example here is a file that is just 80 lines.

As you can see (in the attachment) there is a block starting at line 53 that it is not possible to put any breakpoints in.

Thanks for the reply Tom. At least I know I'm not alone. My cases, like yours, involve code in anonymous functions / closures.
