Hello,

Does chromebug work with Firefox 7?
If yes, which version should I take with which version of Firebug?

Thanks.

Chromebug is currently broken, and the last working version if I recall correctly is for Firebug 1.7, which is not compatible with Firefox 7.

Which the last combination is working ?

I went back to FX 3.6 but couldn't find a good combination for

a\ FX and Firebug (only)

b\ FX and Frirebug and Chromebug.

FB/CB -- also running on old FX version -- seems to be the "best"
debugging tool for XUL design.

This info would be more than helpful

I think the last working combo is Firebug 1.7.x and Chromebug 1.7.x

http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.7/

About the Firefox version I'm not sure but I believe it works for version 3.6, 4 and 5.

regards,

Pedro Simonetti.

a\  FX and Firebug (only)
b\  FX and Frirebug and Chromebug.
FF 5.0 + FB 1.7 + CB 1.7 should be the last working combination.

Note, that since Chromebug is broken in current versions of FF/FB you can also use FBTrace. It's not as comfortable as Chromebug, but should give you the info you need.
