is firebug lite 1.4.0 working on safari page?

A have a simple html page readable by all the main browsers. Firebug says that can not be loaded on the page.

Why would you use Firebug Lite any more?

All Browsers theses days have their own debuggers, clearly surpassing
Firebug Lites' functionality.
