Hi,
I am using the 1.7a11 for Firefox 4b11.
After typing in the Console, I can't press enter. Nothing happened.
However I need to switch to Command Editor and press Run to execute
the command.

I am not experiencing the problem.
Please try:
1) Firebug menu -> Options -> Reset all Firebug Options
or
2) Install Firebug in a new Firefox profile

Had the same issue after upgrading from 1.6.1 to 1.6.2. The solution
for me was to uninstall Firebug and then reinstall.
