Visual indication of selected/checked tab menu item

Several tabs have checkable menu items, like Console|Persist and Net|
Persist/All/HTML/Css etc.
Currently I don't have any clue if and which item is checked/selected.
It would be nice to have a visual indication.
Should I submit an issue for this?

On Windows I can see these toolbar buttons pressed down (the border is
different).

Both this page, Net tab with CSS selected.
Just to clarify, the Net tab is displayed nice, but there is no
indication that the CSS sub menu item is activated/selected.

I have installed Firefox 3.6 (dutch Windows Vista) + Firebug 1.6 (R6276)
and I don't see the problem with the buttons you are showing on the

Do you have any Firefox themes/personas installed?
Or perhaps it could be (even if it doesn’t look like) a collision with another extension...
Do you see the problem if you create a new fresh profile (dutch) with only Firebug installed?

It appears to be the theme Noia 2.0 (eXtreme) 3.76.
Is there anything you can do about this?
