This isn't a bug, it's just a request for a return to the way the net panel used to function in a few versions (I don't recall which versions).

When you have the net panel open and load/refresh a page or do some jquery/json/xmlhttprequest stuff, the requests show up in the net panel as they should. But in a few previous versions of Firebug, I could just right-click on any of these requests that I wanted to open separately in a new tab. In the current, and the past several versions, I have to right-click on the request and select "open in new tab" to accomplish this.

It's a minor complaint because I can still do what I need to do with Firebug, but it saved a few steps and was a lot quicker to use for me the old way. Is there a configurable option to do this somewhere that I don't know about or does this function have to be re-added somehow? I really miss this behavior.

Thanks to all the devs and contributors!

Actually it is a bug and I realized that right now comparing with Firebug 1.6.2. In that version you could middle-click on any URL within Firebug and it opened it in a new browser tab. See issue 5341. You can still achieve the same via Ctrl+click, though.

Thanks for the hint!
