Hi

I'm running Firebug 1.2.0b7 on FF 3.0.1.

I'd like to debug a JS file which is included with the following
statement:
<script type="text/javascript" src="/sites/all/modules/dhtml_menu/
dhtml_menu.js"></script>

There used to be a drop down list in order to open these file, but it
has diapered. How can I open this file and set a break point?

Best Regards
Beatride

Is script debugging enabled? Small menu on the Script tab.

I'm running into the same issue, and I do have script debugging
enabled. I can debug any javascript that is directly embedded in the
page, but anything referenced I'm unable to see.

Am I missing something small/stupid (probably)?

Thanks!
Tom

Any dots in your filenames? Any thing like that?

I wrote an external file called "mainPage.js" and below is the line of source I used to include it in the html.  The js works correctly, I just can't see the code to debug it in firebug.:

<script language='javascript' type="text/javascript" src='mainPage.js'>

Same deal, I can't set break points (well I can, but they are ignored)
in external js files (I have script debugging enabled). Any ideas?
Thanks

Hello !
I've got the same problem than Tom Read. It was working fine until
I've upgraded to FF 3.0.1 and FB 1.2.0.
I didn't see any external JS files list and can't debug them. All is
enable.

If you upgraded from FF2 to FF3 you might try creating a new profile
for Firefox. I don't know of any reason your specific problem should
be fixed this way, but other folks who upgrade do have issues that
disappear when they use a new profile.

It's solved :)
I was quite tired at work and didn't see I just had to click on the
domain name, at the right of the "all" button to have the list.
Work fine :)
