I am getting this error in the Console every time cursor crosses any web page element. This happens on all websites, even the simplest ones with nothing but one DIV. Is my browser misconfigured, or is there some other explanation?

I am not seeing the problem on my machine. Do you have any other extensions installed?
Do you see the problem if you install Firebug in a new clean Firefox profile?

I am VERY sorry I have not responded earlier - I have missed your posting! Yes, you were right, I disabled all other extensions and the problem went away. I am now re-enabling the extensions one at a time to find which one caused it. Thanks for your help!

I found it - it was the Aimersoft Video Downloader add-on. I removed it and all is well. I have not tried to install the latest version, I don't really need it.
