Ctrl + L (go to line shotcut) sometimes plase cursor before # instead after

This is very hard to reproduce bug. The combination of keys Ctrl + L should focus to search bar and place there '#' and put cursor position behind it. But sometimes it puts cursor before it so when I start to write line number, i won't work.
I know about this bug for more than half a year.
Currently I'm on beta Firefox channel (currently version 28) using Firebug 1.12.7.

thanks for the report!

Indeed this is a weird behavior, I was able to reproduce this once with the same setup you use, but couldn't find out any steps to redo it. Do you have any guesses in which situations this issue mostly appeared?
--> It also happened once, that the hash was highlighted, is this also an issue you suffer from?

This often happens to me also. I've stopped using ctrl-l, and rely on ctrl-f #...

I never seen it highlighted, also I didn't found any pattern in it's occurrence.
But maybe it could  be easily fixed using some timeout function... you know, wait 10 ms before putting cursor at end. Or check if there is already '#' before placing cursor.
