Firebug 1.8.2 jumps from Other Tabs to Script Even When Scripts Tab is Disabled.

Is there anyway to get Firebug to stop jumping to the Script tab?
I'm trying to watch the console while the page loads but can't because firebug keeps jumping to the Scripts tab every time any error is encountered, even when filtered.
It's quite annoying to be watching the searching the HTML, watching the net or console and having the tab jump to the inactive Scripts tab.
I'm using FF 6.0.2 and Firebug 1.8.2

Do you have 'Break On All Errors' on?
(the left most button on Console panel toolbar)

No, I have turned off all of the break on errors options. The only way that I found to fix the problem was to go to options and perform a reset of all options.
