Firebug 1.10 supports so, called "delay load" so, it doesn't slow down
Firefox start up time.

You can switch off this feature by setting the following pref to false
extensions.firebug.delayLoad

This sounds weird, what logo is missing? Do you mean the Firebug
button in Firefox toolbar?
