Assume I have an element like <div>...</div> which inherited the font-size from another element.
When I click on the parent it shows "inherited" too.

How can I find out the first element in the parent-grandparent chain which does NOT inherit from its parent but defines the relevant font-size?

...of cause without having to track down and find and click all the 20 elements in the chain up to the top node <html>?

The Computed side panel should provide that info. See this example:

In this case the rule for the outermost <div> with the id level1 defines a font size of 1.2em.
