firebug 1.3.3 is not compatable with firefox 3.0.7

Hi there ..I downloaded firebug from firefox website and it says that
irebug 1.3.3 is not compatable with firefox 3.0.7 any idea how to sort
this problem out ? I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it and added
firebug but the problem still there

Did you download from addons.mozilla.org ? What platform are you
using? Are you using a localized version of Firefox or Firebug?

Any additional information would be appreciated.
