debugger not active while debug js code

when i press the script tab, it will say,debugger  not active while debug js code.it's different from the situation "not active when load the page",even reload the page, get the same message.
i have tried reset all options, but it didn't work . any help is appreciated. thanks!

It seems you are debugging a code on another tab, so try to avoid having multiple tabs opened with firebug active.
