Firebug does *not* connect to any site (so, neither to Twitter nor Facebook) when started.

Note that when Firebug is launched the first time (or updated), it opens first run page:

I did some test using HttpFox several times, when I started firebug, there are two requests to twitter and facebook.

But first thing, I want to make sure that it is not a wrong complain.

If true, please tell me how to stop it.

Because I am behind the fireware of the company, twitter and facebook are forbidden from our company. even the requests are blocked, but they would be recorded.

These requests do not come from Firebug itself but from its extension Illuminations for Developers, which has a Twitter button and a facebook Like button.
