With one of the recent updates to either firefox or firebug, the button used to inspect the DOM (2nd from the left with the picture of the arrow), doesn't get indented when you click it.  So you don't know if it is on or off.  It is driving me crazy.  I have to click it, and then test to see if it is on or not.
I am using a MAC.  Please fix this!

Seems to be working for me. I am using this config:
Firebug 2 beta 6 + Firefox 31.

What configuration do you use?

For reference, this was also mentioned in another thread:

https://groups.google.com/d/msg/firebug/8YuQJoPtxPk/siDpkuFYazsJ

Though in a later post there it seemed like the user does see a hover and active effect but would just like to have them look like the filter buttons.

k-George, can you please make two screenshots of the button when you hover it and have it activated?

Sebastian
