If I'm single stepping through code, either with the buttons or
function keys, with each step the entire script panel, from the stripe
including the horizontal stack to the bottom of the source code
window, goes blank and repaints causing a harsh flicker each step.
Makes it very difficult to step through code.

It only happens with the firebug window detached.

Firefox 3.6.16 and firebug 1.6.2
I do not see this behavior with Firefox 4 and firebug 1.7.0

Anyone else seeing this? Any hope of getting it fixed. I think I'm
going to have a seizure.

Not by me.

Use 1.7 in 3.6, works great.

Maybe this is the about:blank issue ... go to about:blank ... does
Firebug pop up? If it does then close it and it "might" fix your
issue.

I tried installing 1.7 into Firefox 3.6, and got the message "Firebug
1.7.0 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox
3.6.16"

No, firebug is not active for about:blank.
I narrowed it down. It only happens in the detached window. If I
reattach and detach, the flash stops.
