source edit not working

Hi,

I'm probably making some really obvious mistake, but ever since
firebug 1.8 came out, I have been unable to use the 'source edit'
function. Whenever I try to access the source in firebug, I get the
following error message: Reload the page to get source for:
http://www.boerne-isd.net/uploaded/code2/home.css.

I tried re-installing firebug/firefox, and downloading 1.8.1 but the
problem persisted. I noticed that if I copy my code from my file into
firebug, I can then use the source edit function; it just can't
retrieve the code on its own.

Please let me know if this is a bug or if I am just doing something
wrong!

Hi Laura,

reinstalling is never working as long as you are not creating a new
profile. Otherwise the settings will be reused.
Is there an error shown in the Error Console of Firefox (Firefox
button > Web Developer > Error Console)?
If not, please follow the instructions at
http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/I_found_a_Firebug_Bug! and let us
know, if you could fix the issue.
