Javascript stops working when Firebug window is open

This started happening a version or two ago. I thought the it as just a setting I mistakenly changed, but it happens on every computer I work on. I don't really have more information. When the Firebug windows is open all Javascript code just stops working.

THANK YOU. I was having the same issue, and couldn't figure out the cause. FireQuery needs an update.
