Greasemonkey having trouble calling getConsoleByGlobal

I'm not sure when it started, but as of now when we call getConsoleByGlobal, we're never getting a result.  It appears to try to access "Firebug.connection" but that doesn't exist.  I think; I don't know how to turn on FBTrace.DBG_ERRORS to be more sure.

Please create an issue report for this so, we can track the progress.
Also we need a simple test case to reproduce the problem on our
machines.
