Providing a name for an inline CSS is currently not possible.
Please create an enhancement request for it and we'll implement it.

I'd also like to know about what's your use case for creating the style sheets via JS instead of using static ones or creating them on the server-side.

In one project I work on we generate a bunch of stylesheets dynamically from javascript.  In the firebug CSS tab these all have the filename of the document url.  I would love to be able to assign some other more meaningful filename to these, similar to how the javascript eval naming works with //@ sourceURL=filename structure.

Is there any way I can do this, short of writing my own firebug plugin? Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks.
