Hi,

For Firebug Lite for Chrome and Safari, I don't seem to see ways to
know execution / page load time, and the second equally important
feature is, which element takes longer time to load, they are
critically useful, so, if I'm not missing something here I wonder if
there're any other options out there, also, if upcoming Firebug Lite
would include these features.

Thanks in advance.

FWG (Firebug Working Group) is not working on Firebug Lite due to
lack of resources. We focus on Firebug (the Firefox extension).

Of course, we welcome developers who want to contribute
to Firebug Lite.

What knowledge(development) somebody must have to contribute to the firebug lite for Chrome.

Firebug Lite is completely based on JavaScript. So you'll need to know about that and know the different tweaks you need to implement in order to keep it compatible with all common browsers.

The billion dollar companies using webkit really should spend a few dollars on constantly upgrading their own developer tools. Firebug is such a champion of a program, if Chrome sniffers want it, install Firefox or send a message to crApple / Google. After all, Google stole/bought a heap of Mozilla developers so why should anybody at Mozilla work on tools to help competing browsers? Mozilla would rather duplicate Firebug instead! LOL.

Long live the Flaming Hot Fire(fox|bug) combination!

That's what they are doing, no?

It's not Chrome wanting Firebug, it's users wanting Firebug.
So the reason for Firebug Lite's existance is easily explained. When it was created there were no such tools for IE, Chrome, Opera or Safari. Nowadays the reason to have Firebug Lite has changed. People just want to have a the same UI in all browsers. And IMO Firebug has the best UI of all of them.

Also I want to emphasize that Firebug and Firebug Lite are developed by volunteers (with exception of Honza). So it was never a question of Mozilla working on tools for other browsers but the Firebug Working Group working on them.
And I still believe the idea behind Firebug Lite to have a cross-browser tool for development is very good. Though as Honza already mentioned we currently don't have the resources to continue working on Firebug Lite and we would appreciate anybody wanting to take up the challenge to continue its development.

Just for clarification: My intention was to say that it's not Mozilla working on tools to help competing browsers, it's a mixed group of people working on Firebug and related tools.
And my statement about Firebug and Firebug Lite development could be misinterpreted. Honza is the only one working for Mozilla, though he's also contributing a big bunch of his spare time to the project, extensions and everything around it. And Firebug Lite is unrelated to Mozilla.
