Hi,

As I get older I accidentally type commas instead of full stops or periods. FireBug does not report these as errors, is there some way I can make it?

An example
If I type global.profile,LaunchLog (note the comma), no error shows at runtime.

Can this be sorted?

Cheers

This is easily recognizable in those cases:
  1. Only if you write a dot you will get an auto-completion for LaunchLog, if it was set before. So, if you don't see LauchLog when you type L, that's an indicator that you mistyped something.
  2. It is reported as error (that LaunchLog is undefined) when you try to access the property.

Note that it is not output as an error on assignment, as global.profile,LaunchLog = "foo"; is a valid JavaScript statement and creates a global variable called LaunchLog.

If Firebug display is too small for your eyes you can always hold Ctrl
key and hit + key in active Firebug window. Ctrl - will zoom out again,
Ctrl 0 will return to normal, just as in Firefox main window.
