Did the behavior of HTML tab's "Shade Box Model" change or break lately?
When enabled, hovering over an element in the HTML node tree would put a blue highlight over the region the element covers. Now, it does nothing.
When disabled, it gives a blue border around the region the element covers.

My setup:
Windows 7 SP 1
FireFox 27.0.1
FireBug 1.12.6

Thanks,
-Rick

It's working fine for me using Firefox 27.0.1 + Firebug 1.12.6 on Win8.1. Could it be a conflict with another extension?

Good to know it wasn't changed -- now I just have to figure out what's breaking it ;).

Enabled extensions:

Firebug 1.12.6
FirePHP 0.7.4
Firepicker 1.4.3
NoScript 2.6.8.14

I just tried that combination of extensions on a fresh Firefox profile and it's working fine for me.
I assume the problem lies in the settings for NoScript. Does it work when you disable it and restart the browser?

Confirmed! It's a problem with NoScript. I posted the issue at http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=19254

Thanks for the help!

Good news -- Disabling and re-enabling NoScript seems to have fixed this.
No idea why, but it's working again.

Thanks again,
-Rick
