I have recently recreated my Firefox profile and installed all extensions anew. But Firebug now has a strange behaviour. When I search something on google.com, it's disabled. When I click on a Wikipedia link, I'm redirected to an empty page where Firebug is active, but I'm immediately redirected to Wikipedia, where Firebug is not active. Even quickly pressing Shift+F12 while the panel is displayed won't make it go away permanently.

How can I disable Firebug for all sites once, to reset its memory about where it should be active and where not? I couldn't find any setting in about:config. Is there another file to delete?

I found it. I deleted the file firebug/annotations.json in my profile folder. That fixed it. It had some content that looked like it would cause this behaviour.
