I know that firebug has a built-in memory profiler but is disabled, I wanna try this function and see how to enhance this. So I turned on this in firebugOverlay.xul and its related command in firebugMenuOverlay.xul, but still it doesnot work.
Here is the snapshot of what i turned on:

firebugOverlay.xul

firebugMenuOverlay.xul

Is there something else that i forget?

The memory profiling feature was actually removed lately, because it never really worked as expected and Mozilla now removed the related APIs in favor of creating new ones. See issue 6726 for more info.
There's already a request for reimplementing and improving this. See issue 4529. If you want to help us with that e.g. by providing information and mockups, you're welcome to do so. Though note that this feature is quite complex and isn't really something for starters.

If you want to make contributions to Firebug, I suggest you pick a simpler issue for the beginning.
