firebug has been causing buttons both in firefox dialogs and on web page forums to render improperly

I can't see that using Firefox 32.0.1 + Firebug 2.0.4 on Win7.
Which versions do you use? And why do you believe this problem is related to Firebug?
Firebug doesn't apply styles to buttons outside of it. So to me it sounds more like a problem caused by another extension, maybe you have a Stylish theme enabled?
