I am curious if anybody else has noticed this. If I switch to the Layout tab (doesn't matter how complex of an HTML page super complex or blank) the CPU Usage by Firefox jumps (Quad Core Hyper threaded so a soft "core" is 12% and it generally stays at 7-11%
Using Aurora 24.0a2 and 1.12.0b1 though I've noticed it numerous times in the past 6+ months. Just never pinned it down to being the Layout tab before. I always thought it was Firefox and DirectDraw problem (from various random debugging).

Okay, thanks. I missed Searching the Bug List but now that I went back to the main website i see that I didn't check the "Get Involved" page for a link to the bug track.
Apologies.
Kind of annoying bug though. :p

We're already discussing how to solve that.

Don't know when exactly this happened but it seems to be fixed now :) Kudos.
